Sourcing Furniture and Creating Figures

I created my 1:12 scale figures using mini drawing manikins, Milliput and air drying clay. I created these figures to look sad, and uncomfortable to represent those who are still living in the sewers. Those who have no choice but to stay.

I painted the figures using acrylic paint, I haven't included too much detail as it will be quite dark in the tunnel anyway which would hide the details, I have created them to cast the shapes of those living inside.

I created some planks of wood that I will be using as walkways between the path, these will be throughout the tunnel, some broken and some still standing. I made these from cardboard and painted with acrylic.

I have been able to source some more furniture from my younger sister, which she has allowed me to paint. I haven't painted all of the furniture as a lot of it was a really nice colour anyway.

Here is one of the pieces I have painted and sanded back to match the rest of the model. I really like the tones and the roughness on this piece, it shows how really worn down it is, showing its age.
