Basic Colour Wheel

Painted with Windsor and Newton Gouache. The outer ring is made up of the primary colours of Red, Blue, and Yellow. The inner ring I mixed the primary colours to make the secondaries. The centre was a mixture of primaries and white.

Temperature Colour Wheel

Painted with Windsor and Newton Gouache. The outer ring is made up of mixtures of paint- indicated by name. Rings towards the centre I added more and more white. The centre was made by cold primaries + white.

Complimentary Opposite Colour Wheel

Painted with Windsor and Newton Gouache. Outer ring colours were mixed as labelled. For the inner rings I mixed the segment colour with the colour on the opposite side of the wheel. The second to middle ring I added white. The centre was made by cold primaries + white.

Tonal Scale Chart

I created this chart using left over swatches I have collected from creating the colour wheels. The aim of this chart is to categories the colours into their grey scale. The shades that the colours would show through as a black and white scale.

Complimentary Opposite Scales
