Photographing My Model Right Now...Still Much More To Do!

Here I have photographed my work at the stage I have got to right now, as of the 28th of March. I have decided to put my model all together to see what it would look like with all of the pieces I have made so far. I do now have the issue of not having access to a laser cutter, which is the quickest and easiest way of making furniture. However, I am intending to hand make more furniture with the materials I have with me at home.
I have also included lights on the underneath of the model, only on one side due to glare. This shouldn't be a problem when I eventually put in the sewage/ resin base, as the light wouldn't be so bright and the LED strips wouldn't be visible. For these photos I tucked the LED strip under the right hand side.
I am very happy with how these images came out, photographs were taken on my iPhone XR and Nikon D90. In these images the textures I have already created on the floor and walls are very visible, how they catch the light is exactly the appearance I want. This is a place that's many many years old. Within its history, it has had many people living in side for 50 years or more, with people living in there still.
I do still have a lot to do to this model including posters, family photos, signs on the walls, litter from the build up of rubbish over the years. As well as making it look more homely. I am also going to cut a whole in the top of the tunnel as the exit (Where the Neo-sapiens escape). for this I aim to create a ladder that is either on the wall 'metal bars' or like in my previous project a wooden ladder. I am also going to make a build up of dirt along the sides of the tunnel.

I have added a little experiment into the mix, with putting real tea lights inside the barrels. I tried using fake electrical tea lights however, these turned out far too dim and they were not visible at all. To attempt something a bit more adventurous, I decided I would try putting real tea lights inside the barrels... This has worked really well for the warm glow appearing on the walls of the tunnel which I really like. The visual appearance of the barrels I think looks really good, it just needs something sticking out of it, like pieces of wood. However, using real tea light has its flaws... because of the narrowness of the barrels, it perfectly fits a tea light inside, which means the flame is very close to the walls inside. The barrels were 3D printed making them made of plastic, which unfortunately if i left the flame going for too long, the plastic would definitely melt. I left the flame going for about 2 minutes as an experiment and at this time point the walls were squishy. I blew out the flame and left the barrel in a cold spot which it soon returned to its normal hardness.
To solve this problem I need to look into getting brighter electrical tea lights with a natural flame glow.

Here are some images of my model exterior with the inside LEDs still on, but also with flash on, on the camera. These photos show more natural light in the model box, which you can see more details under.
