Making The Foam Panels

I have began making my foam panels using the silicone mould I created last week, I have three different foams to work with ranging from tough to soft.

I began using a 3:1 Pro-cell S5 Black foam from MouldLife, this foam has been a great learning curve from what I though about foam. To begin with MouldLife sent me the wrong colour foam, I ordered white, however they sent me black, which wasn't an issue but did confuse me to their reliability for future orders. I found this foam a very very dense foam which as soon as mixed needs to be immediately poured, it has a cream time of about 20 seconds which means I have to work super fast to be able to pour it. The issue I found when using this foam is as soon as I had mixed it together it had already began curing which stops it from being pourable. The cream time just isn't enough to get the result that I am looking to get.

My next foam is again from MouldLife Pro-Cell S4, however it is stock that was in the UCA Hatch. This foam worked really well, its cream time was about 40 seconds which was much more workable than the first foam I tried. I also found this foam to spread much more than the first, something about the foam being a lot softer allows it to easily spread when weight it applied. I did however come to find trouble with the Part B, where the stock in the Hatch probably had been sat there longer than it should have, it had turned the bottom quarter of the bottle into a thick clumpy mass which I wasn't able to use. This resulted in my having a lot of Part A left but no Part B to mix it with...

The third foam I tried is from Smooth-On Foam-iT! 10 which is a more dense foam than the MouldLife S4 but far from being as dense as the Pro-cell S5 Black foam. The consistency of this foam is much like what I need to create my brick panels.

So far I have been able to create 4 1/2 panels out of 9 that I need to complete the circuit. My next step is ordering this foam to be able to have enough to finish the panels.
