Making Figures

To begin making some figures to put inside my model, I thought of a quick and easy way to begin making them. I thought of using wire armatures however, this would take up a lot of time. I then thought of using drawing manikins to use for the structure, this would allow me to position the figures to how I want them to be.

I found the perfect size manikin in The Works for £2 each, I purchased 5 of these to begin making my figures. Using NoNonsense superglue I was able to make the figures hold their position. I found I needed to bend the springs to allow them to stretch out.

I then used the fine white Milliput to cover the wooden base, looking at reference images of people living on the streets.
