Today I was given the amazing opportunity to meet Maker & Author David Neat. Neat was able to talk to us about his extensive knowledge of model making and materials. We were able to look closely at some of his example models he brought in for us to see, which was fascinating. We were able to ask questions and get answers for things relating to our own projects. I was able to ask what material David thought would be most suitable for using in a curved tunnel which would allow me to create a brick texture, to which I was suggested 'Kappa-Line Foamboard 3mm'. Having Neat come in and speak to us, really broadened my mind for materials I could use as well as methods I could approach to using them.
