Finishing My Prototype Sewer Model

Over the weekend I let my resin cure completely, from being a crystallised base it had developed further into looking more like a skin underneath. This could be due to air pockets causing the resin to cure differently, or the chemicals in the paint that I used. However from this it has created a really nice look to the sewage which I think works really well, it gives It more texture and tone underneath.

This is how the resin looked when placed into the model. The surface of the resin is slightly wobbly however, this shouldn't effect the motion of the camera. A possible way to sort this if it is an issue is to use a slower curing resin.

I painted the sides of the walk way to make it all come together, matching the same colour as the sides of the sewer reserve. Overall I am very happy with how this look, by creating this prototype I now know where I can adjust and save money on materials moving forward, I also know what I need to be aware of when re-sizing and tweaking parts of my model.
