Finding The Correct Colours

Here are some primary images I have collected that I have taken inspiration from.
To begin with a base layer, I put on a coat of Rosco Foam Coat. Once I had allowed this to dry, I mixed together Rosco's Burnt Umber and Ultramarine-blue and watered in down to about 80% water. Using a flat wet brush I put a wash the over the whole surface.
Once I had let this dry completely, I mixed up multiple different shades in the Rosco paints such as Ultramarine-blue, Spectrum red, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Umber, Raw Sienna and Grass Green. Using the shades I mixed up I painted each brick with a flat brush painting bricks at random to show the variety of colours in the bricks, especially since older bricks have much more colour variations to newer bricks.
Letting this dry, I made a shade I thought suitable of Burnt Umber and Ultramarine-blue which I again watered down to about 80& water. Using a large brush I coated the surface which brought all of the colours together.
This is how the bricks look when placed inside the tunnel, I am really happy with how it has turned out. I think I have got to make the bricks look dirtier, however I now want to start working on the bottom section of the sewer to create a relationship between the two parts. This will help me to see what I need to do the bricks to get that gross and nasty environment I want to create in my model
