Creating Figures

To create figures to live in my set, I found multiple drawing manikins that are at 1:12 scale. I found removing the stand and some of the springs inside allowed me to pose them far easier. To make them hold their position I have used 'No nonsense' super glue at the joints which was fiddley to start with, however it eventually worked. I wanted to have the figures in poses to resemble those who live on the streets, as this would be a similar situation to those living in the sewers post-war.
I created blankets and clothing using 'Milliput' and air drying clay. I found the air drying clay worked much better to create the the ripples you would get in real fabrics. I created the face on the bottom left image using 'Milliput'.
